Practical Tips to Avoid Losing Your Keys

  • Designate a place to keep your keys. You can reduce the risk of losing your keys. A hook or bowl can be placed near your front door. You should make it a habit of putting your keys there each time you return home. This should be your first action. If you're on the move, make sure to keep your keys in one place. Keep it in your purse, if possible, in a zip-up compartment.
  • Make it larger and more obvious. Less is more. To make your keys more interesting and prevent them from getting lost, get a lanyard that is colorful or some fun trinkets.
  • You can track them. With technology, you can no longer lose your keys. Two options are available. One option is to buy a remote control key finder, which will find your keys just by pressing a button. But, if your batteries get flat, the finder or remote won't work. Wireless app trackers are the second option. To link the FOB and your keys, all you have to do is attach it to your keys. You have a lot more reach with this option because it uses Wi Fi.
  • Have a spare set in your car. It is one of the best ways to ensure you always have access to your keys. Lock your car, or you could give your keys to a criminal.
  • Talking of spare keys. Now's the time to purchase at least one copy. You have two options: leave them with a friend or neighbor or buy a key holder you can keep in your yard
